nah, white line means nothing. When you're racing you just go for what's the quickest thru corner. Not how to be on white line. I personally loved for example Austria 2003 or Hockenheimring T1s where they just bluntly go wide off the corner to carry the speed. It's more attractive in my eyes, it's quicker and I like it. It's also more edgy and more exciting and requires pair of balls. Anything asphalted or curbed is track for me. Shall it not be used then consider making the whole thing a little bit less safe. One thing is when it's real danger and another when it's a rule.
Besides, it's a matter of taste and opinion. The dust will settle soon enough anyway. It's just horrendous the ammount of moaning he puts into it. Puncture the bastards tires so he can worry about that.
amp: Charly is also a secret LFS'er, ergo 2 wheels on curb (curb is part of the racetrack) for president.
Brundle: once again!! stop moaning, groaning every faking 60seconds how someone drove country miles and gained airplane speed off the race track!
Can't be quite sure on Wibster cocking up the start tomorrow. He's almost always good at everything after going low for a considerate period of time, aka since Malaysia. Pit-stop battles are gonna be the key. Maybe Vettel will make a Senna chicane on him coming end of the race. Hm, hm, waking up early is a must.
Well it's nice to see how people think of this matter in EU and afaik this car is far far cheaper there too. Since we need to pay tax for import etc... It's not even cheap for us anymore then. If them Fix It Another Time bitch gets them more issues then DMF I'll let you know. Maybe even ask for advice how to fix it myself. The car has totally different image here. Many people have given it a chance. You'll find a many youtube vids on it on one of the Balkan languages all the while you're searching on English. And still it's a rare car too. Also every service boi has recommended it over 147 Alfa baby.
One of things I'd be interested in is how is chip tuning going with these engines. Any experiences out there. I'm not all up for chipping it, however interested to hear how it goes when someone braves into it.
lol u bitches hating on FIAT, the little brother of Ferrari. So nice. It's easy to hate. Still, Stilo is an exception to the family. And it's exception only if you've got yourself a JTD. I'm just trying to encourage anyone out there to find out for himself more into this badboy car. Besides a nice image and looks of car, you get a great diesel engine. You can easily cruise the engine up to a million kilometers. And you can be sure you've got a stronger car than VW/Audi's same engined car. What more can one ask from 3rd world's country.
Where I live we've got a couple of straights such as SPA's backstraight where you can smoke someone if he's up for it. Since most the cars are under 100hp, TDI is actually the closest to JTD, hence the comparison. Though it seems that these TDI's after 2005 are a bit stronger, or better on power delivery.
If I may ask Shotglass, what are you driving?
P.S. Since you seem as an expert of this, what's the strongest diesel one can reasonably get? ^^
No,no. Everyone knows electronics of Fiat will give you shit load of false warnings. That's about it.
Yep. It's not 200horses. But it does feel more than what it is. It's at least 1/3 better than TDI in brutality department. I think the torque thing is helping it out a lot. Since torque is the one mostly gunning for acceleration.
hehehe. This thing grauls like a mother****er. Goddamn thing using 6 liters on avg so far though. Perhaps need more Sunday granny style driving for 5 liter consumption..
LOL. Car was bought legally.
@Rony: lol plis. What do you know.
And load of beemers hanging out around me on the road. Make what you want of it, but I'm guessing they are a little bit competitive.
